If you are lucky enough to own an Iphone and have been trying to find out how to put movies on it, this article aims to show you the way. You can’t have failed to realise that Apple have recently released their Iphone, which is technological marvel following along the lines of the Ipod.

The Iphone is, as it sounds, basically an Ipod mixed with the latest cellphone technology, allowing internet browsing, phone calls, and multimedia storage all from one small handset. There is obviously a lot that the Iphone can do alongside play movies, but the movie playing side of things looks a dead cert to be on of the most popular aspects.

With an Iphone you can show movies that have come either from a DVD or straight from the internet. Obviously, a DVD won’t fit into your Iphone, so you’ll first need to get the movie onto a computer, and you should then be able to transfer the files to your Iphone. In order to get a DVD saved on your computer in the required format, you’ll need some ripping software, which is capable of ripping the files into MP4 format, which is what the Iphone uses.

The other side of the coin is when you are trying to get movies on your Iphone when you don’t actually own them on DVD. This answer is one of the most sought after amongst Iphone owners, and once you know it you will probably be the envy of many of your friends.

Many people simply download the movies from torrent or peer to peer sites, which is of course illegal, and pretty dangerous for your computer too. Ever wondered why people that download lots of stuff get viruses all the time? It’s because they use places like that. Do you really want to run the risk of killing your Iphone or computer, or worse, actually going to jail, just to download the latest Tarantino movie? It’s simply not worth the risk.

Instead, there are some much safer alternatives springing up in the world these days. There are only a few of these sites because the Iphone is so new, and you really do need to know where they are to find them, but the way it works is that you pay a small fee and then you are given access to their download database, which is usually huge, much larger than any P2P site. Once you have access, you are then allowed to download an unlimited amount of stuff for your Iphone. It’s not limited to movies either, you could download MP3s, games, music videos, TV shows, pretty much whatever you desire. The downloads are usually pretty smooth and fast too.

Hopefully you will find this resource useful, as most people have no idea these sites exist.

Finding out who’s calling or has just called is a very handy and helpful thing, either from a safety point of view or curiosity. As long as you have the area code and the seven digit number, you should be able to locate any numbers owner, if you know where to look.

There are many reasons people turn to finding who owns a cell or land line phone number, take for example, a hypothetical situation of prank callers harassing you. Or a stalker that just wont leave you alone.

Searching For That Number

Your first stop should be a free reverse phone number directory. Plenty of them are available on the Internet. Youll enter the entire number including the area code and hit Search. If the number is a published land line, you should get the information you want, including the name of the owner and the entire address of the owner.

If youre lucky enough to get results, then your search can stop there. In most cases, youll need to try a slightly different approach.

Usually, the reason youll run into problems is that the number belongs to a cell phone. Because there is no central database of cell phone numbers, free reverse phone directories cannot return information on those numbers. You also wont be able to get information on land line numbers that are unlisted or non-published.

Dont bother trying multiple reverse phone directories in order to find the owner of a phone number, either. Most use the same databases, so if you dont score results at one then you wont fare any better at another site.

Find a Phone Number Owner With Reverse Phone Detective

Instead, you may have to use a paid site. For a reasonable fee, you can access all of the information you need about the owner of a phone number using Reverse Phone Detective. There database gives you accurate, up-to-date information using both land line and cell phone searches.

The exclusive database includes broad coverage of the entire United States with better results than youll find at most other sites. They also give you free search assistance, access to expanded people search databases, and more.

In addition, they also give you a 100%, ironclad guarantee if you dont get results, you dont pay.

To use Reverse Phone Detectives reverse lookup service, you will pay a fee which gives you an unlimited number of searches inside the members area, plus a premium full phone report. After you sign up, just enter the phone number you want to find, click Search, and youll have your information. Its that easy!

Having used a desktop computers and notebook computers that had been officially supplied by the company where I was employed, there was no need to worry about what type of notebook computer or whatever configuration that was required in my work.

So when I finally had to purchase my own notebook computer for personal private use, I found myself facing a myraid of questions. Just what should I look out for when buying my own notebook computer?

First, I found I had to quantify my own needs for a notebook computer. Having quantified my needs, which was to do a lot of number crunching and to perform technical analysis and charting of stock prices online, I found that even low priced models could perform work that was demanded by my needs.

I was pleasantly surprised that my needs did not demand a high priced model.

Secondly, the notebook computer I required would need to be sufficiently light. In the process of identifying the notebook computer, I decided I did not need a subnotebook, as most notebook computers weigh between 5 to 7 kg, with a subnotebook weighing at 5 kg or less.

The standard notebook computer was sufficient for my needs coming with some wordprocessing software that was already installed as part of the package that comes with the computer and with Internet access capabilities. All I need was to install my specialized technical analysis program to monitor the stock prices.

At the same time, advances in notebook computer technology ensured that I had wireless technology and can hook up online at any hotspot outlet. This would allow me to have mobile wireless access anywhere I go. I could also use a pen drivefor additional mobile storage.

Finally, I also decided that I really do not need to use the provided upgrade functionality for the notebook, perferring to use the notebook for a period of two years at most. This was because I discovered parts and accessories were expensive, and going the way of upgrades to be expensive. Changing to a new model completely after two years appear to be a better proposition in terms of more power, functionality and cost savings.

Having made these decisions, the next step was to go online for a price comparison. Shopping online allowed me the convenience of researching each one of the notebook computer that caught my attention, without feeling pressured to make a quick decision.

There were some sites that allowed the added convenience of comparing different models side by side, and doing so was very useful in helping me to make my final decision on the notebook computer.

If you are faced with the task of purchasing your own notebook computer, the considerations which I have mentioned above will help you in your initial selection in making a wise decision.

If I asked you this, would you believe me? Try doing so, because its the truth. And also, in this strange and perverse world, young people are busy killing each other at an alarming rate. Do we really need something like a pseudo Mafia causing the same sorts of problems? Gangsterism, in other words, on our childrens beloved video games?

According to Wikipedia, the Webs foremost online encyclopedia, ever since 9/11 the FBI hasnt had much in time or resources to handle organized crime, and there has been a sudden resurgence in its activities.

Right now, the online game The Sims Online– which is labeled a T for Teens game — has been overrun by several obviously Mafia named families. These people dont seem to have enough imagination to be Mexican Mafia, Chinese Mafia or Japanese Mafia (yet), which also exist in real life. They are very aggressive and very obvious.

Whether or not they are the real Mafia is a question which I cannot answer. They may be a bunch of errant teenage boys and girls but ones with some very eclectic adult tastes and also many violent and weird high tech tendencies. You should see the Playboy style icons they paste on top of their houses from certain views of the TSO video game.

And one thing these kids, if they are kids, really do, even though it is to virtual and not real houses: they trash peoples paid-for beautiful properties. The kind of properties that people would like to build, taking a lifetime to achieve. Beautiful, sprawling mansions you cant own in real life, the kind that are totally out of reach for the vast majority of people. And no one could tell if it was part of the game, or something far worse.

I am so tired, I dont know. Values are very hard to gauge in life, anyway.

To green up on The Sims Online at all, or to keep your simulated character going, you must do interactions that are similar to having sex with animals (wrestle with your dog, but you should see what it looks like if you really see it) and thats bad enough, but rather bearable. Sigmund Freud would have told us that such behavior is relatively normal, that having an orgy session involving heavy petting with your own puppy where it loves you and licks your face and you are all over each other, is fun. Also, there is sexy dancing, heavy kissing and hugging, and so forth, which works for most people — including twelve year old kids. This is done with your fellow characters, real life people in the game whom you can become acquainted with, work with, and even marry. The marriages are not legal of course, and tend to dissolve fairly quickly.

Meanwhile, your town is crawling with De Corleoni Territori, the Italian Mafia Empire, The Vito Family Territory and so forth. I am not talking Anti-Italian Defamation. I had several Italian friends on the game, whom I am now stuck missing in my daily life. I am talking about a bunch of people either acting like the Mafia, or worse yet, actually being connected with them somehow and taking over a childrens video game. Possibly, several childrens video games. Or were they involved in the first place, and is Maxis a Mafia held game company? Look at the names.

Maxis, Mafia. Why doesnt Entertainment Arts do something about the house trashing problem, for example, even though people have repeatedly complained about it? What is it exactly that they are trying to hide? Apparently not much; you can easily find the Mob everywhere on that game. And their version of the cops does absolutely nothing at all. Meanwhile, I have talked to Maxis, and they have repeatedly claimed we are taking care of the problem.

The game is labeled T for Teens and is connected with what looks like some harmless fake gambling. The money being exchanged seems to be Simoleans at first. Fake money, which you get by working at odd jobs on the game, and you may also acquire skills so you can make more of the fake money. But there are payoffs, and you can also buy blocks of the money on EBay, roughly $15-25 for 1 million Simoleans. I heard of one lady who blew thousands of real life dollars on this. Its possible that the teenagers who are playing it are making money from performing vaguely illicit sexual acts on this game for real money.

Is this what you want your teenager to be doing? For 6-10 hours a day, five-seven days a week? Eventually, obviously, after I spent about a month on the game, it was so that the money was swiftly turning real.

Okay, video addiction is bad enough, but were talking about Organized Crime here as well. Remember a little place called Columbine High School? What if theres some sort of eerie connection to that sort of business? I had to join this game to find out, kind of as a lark, but I did some real exploring too.

And the Mafia is in and roughly controlling every town that Ive visited on The Sims Online, and Ive reasonably checked them all over. Dans Grove, Jolly Pines, Blazing Falls, Alphaville. The Mafia iseverywhere.

I have talked to these Mafia gentlemen and ladies, and visited their houses. They dont have very much to do at them but the usual Sims stuff. Im afraid they have discovered game cheats and, being bored, are using them to destroy other game players properties. And yes, I have evidence, not hard unfortunately, that they have watched people play the game from a distance. One of them knew about something he shouldnt have known. And another friend of mine who regularly plays video games has noticed these tendencies toward having strange game powers that other players dont have in yet other video games. He says its pretty common. Hackers, he calls it, but in the TSO case, its hitting a little too close to home.

For example, a gay bashing was set up right in front of me. I rode it out, but I had to comfort the gay being bashed. Of course, it was his simulated character, not he who was hurt. TSO is real people playing games. Im not gay, but it was getting a little peculiar that such stuff is allowable on a T for Teens video game. I was more than a little confused.

A lady in fun fired a game Civil War cannon at me, in private, and this Mafia guy named Riccardo knew that it had happened. I dont think she told him about it. How did he know? She did it just for laughs, and it was a harmless game event (I peed my pants as the game character, and it seemed okay), but its not very funny that he knew about it. I didnt exactly care, and it was sort of humorous. He couldnt have known about it unless hed seen it happen, in all probability. And he wasnt anywhere on the property or onscreen at the time. He had a private view of it going on.

The same Mafia dude, who kept denying he was Mafia — while dressed in an obvious game-style Mafia suit and with the name Riccardo — also told me you cant trash houses unless youre a roommate or the home owner. This should indeed be the case; it involves building permissions. But one of the house trashing victims had no roommates whatsoever. And she wasnt motivated to trash her houseno insurance money is involved.

Game players on this game can be quite friendly. I made a lot of good friends doing things like making pizzas, opening up my own skills house business, doing minor gambling (legal for adults and Im over 40) and in general — partying. You can play high tech, beautiful looking musical instruments and feel like youre there. Its a great game. You should see some of the wild and crazy characters on this game! Or should you?

Except that I cant play it anymore. I quit the game solely because of the
extremely heavy Mafia presence that was starting to visit my house and breathe hotly down my neck. That, and the game was cutting into my work routine as a full-time writer quite a little bit, too.

First, Riccardo showed up. Out of nowhere, after I had used the Maxis device to screen all apparent Mafia members out of my house. He showed up at my house. The same day my friends house was trashed. It was the second such trashing since I had started playing there. Obvious Mafia guy, obviously scouting me. Denied everything completely. This was after two of my friends houses had been trashed.

Want to know anything about terrorism? Now I know what it is. A little too thoroughly for my tastes. The Mob was making it obvious that I could be next. Why is that exactly? And what sort of next would it bereal, or simulated game activity? These people looked capable of tracking down my actual computers IP address, my ISP — and finally, my real life house.

And all I could do was flee. I quit playing the game for good. I dont feel much like a serious game player after that. I feel rather like an inebriated cipher.

Yeah, theyre just a bunch of teenagers who like to trash houses Theyre not the real Mafia, theyre just kids. I heard a lot of that from people both on and off the game, even my fellow writers. Harmless kids.

Like the ones at Columbine? That bunch even called themselves The Trench Coat Mafia. Whats with this strange fascination of teenage kids with the Mob? Does gangsta rap, or something even worse, have anything to do with it?

The Sims Online is conceivably the haven for a slinking beast with no better name than the Neo Mafia: My New Family. And for the last time, if youre Italian, I am not picking on you. Im worried about you instead. And do you need to be affiliated with these mysterious strangers, who maybe think all organized crime is still from Italy? Are you, like me, a parent? Ma fia? Neo ma fia

Yes, parents, that is what it means in Italian-American. My new family. Still feel comfortable with the concept?

Trust me. Im only Italian. Im not a Mafia member. You must be a bigot. Its because my skin is brown. Yadayadayaday. You can be whatever skin color you want to be on TSO, and either sex for that matter. Everybody kept going, Its only kids, calm down, and its only kids. Yeah, pretty old kids.

Maybe I was a fool for ever playing that game. I assumed it was just a game, and someone was being silly about the Mafia on it. Later, I found a very professional looking website dedicated to The Sims Mafia. Dont enter here if youre under thirteen is a quote from it. Maxis is doing nothing whatsoever to stop these people, which is getting to be sickeningly obvious.

Im sure that if this story is ever widely promoted, people will join The Sims Online (TSO) after having read it. Its an extremely download, a free two week trial, $10 per month and bam, youre in it. News items like the War belittle this pretty much. But thats somebody elses problem. The Federal Bureau of Investigation should be looking into at least our nations video games. You can buy money on EBay to sell on that TSO game, kids are on that game, and they are being threatened into being recruited into the, I would assume, mostly swarthy white people Mafiaright nowsince they keep mentioning the Italian one so much

the real one or the virtual one?

Who knows?

For CCNA exam success, you had better know what split horizon is, how to turn it off, and when to turn it off. Knowing when to turn split horizon off is also important in production networks, because it can cause a hub-and-spoke network to have incomplete routing tables on the spokes.

Split horizon exists for a very good reason – routing loop prevention. The rule of split horizon states that a router cannot send an advertisement for a route out the same interface that it came in on. Split horizon is on by default on all interfaces running RIP, IGRP, and EIGRP.

In this CCNA tutorial, R1 will serve, as the hub and R2 and R3 will be the spokes. We’ll first configure EIGRP over the 172.16.123.0 /24 network, the network connecting the three routers.

R1#conf t

R1(config)#router eigrp 100

R1(config-router)#no auto-summary

R1(config-router)#network 172.12.123.0 0.0.0.255

R2#conf t

R2(config)#router eigrp 100

R2(config-router)#no auto-summary

R2(config-router)#network 172.12.123.0 0.0.0.255

R3#conf t

R3(config)#router eigrp 100

R3(config-router)#no auto-summary

R3(config-router)#network 172.12.123.0 0.0.0.255

Running show ip eigrp neighbor on R1 shows that adjacencies to R2 and R3 are up.

R1#show ip eigrp neighbor

IP-EIGRP neighbors for process 100

H Address Interface Hold Uptime SRTT RTO Q Seq Type

(sec) (ms) Cnt Num

1 172.12.123.3 Se0/0 11 00:02:45 1 5000 0 1

0 172.12.123.2 Se0/0 161 00:03:01 1 5000 0 1

Each router will now advertise its loopback address via EIGRP.

R1#conf t

R1(config)#router eigrp 100

R1(config-router)#network 1.1.1.0 0.0.0.255

R2#conf t

R2(config)#router eigrp 100

R2(config-router)#network 2.2.2.0 0.0.0.255

R3#conf t

R3(config)#router eigrp 100

R3(config-router)#network 3.3.3.0 0.0.0.255

Running show ip eigrp route on each router shows that R1 has a route for both R2s and R3s loopback. R2 and R3 will only see R1s loopback address, and not each others. Why?

R1#show ip route eigrp

2.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 2.2.2.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.2, 00:03:19, Serial0/0

3.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 3.3.3.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.3, 00:03:04, Serial0/0

R2#show ip route eigrp

1.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 1.1.1.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:03:40, Serial0/0.123

R3#show ip route eigrp

1.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 1.1.1.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:05:17, Serial0/0.31

EIGRP uses Split Horizon by default to prevent routing loops. In this lab, though, it prevents full network reachability. R2 and R3 both form neighbor relationships with R1s Serial physical interface. R2 advertises its loopback address to R1s Serial interface, as does R3. Split Horizon does not allow a route to be advertised back out the same interface it was received on. This prevents R1 from advertising R2s loopback to R3, or R3s loopback to R2.

Split Horizon must be disabled to allow full network reachability in this lab. To do so, run no ip split-horizon eigrp 100 on R1s Serial interface. When Split Horizon is disabled, that will cause the neighbor
relationships to fail, and then reestablish. Run show ip route eigrp 100 on both R2 and R3. The appropriate route to the remote loopback address will now appear.

R1#conf t

R1(config)#int serial0

R1(config-if)#no ip split-horizon eigrp 100

10:02:23: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP 100: Neighbor 172.12.123.2 (Serial0/0) down: split horizon changed

10:02:23: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP 100: Neighbor 172.12.123.3 (Serial0/0) down: split horizon changed

10:02:27: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP 100: Neighbor 172.12.123.3 (Serial0/0) ip: new adjacency

10:02:54: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP 100: Neighbor 172.12.123.2 (Serial0/0) ip: new adjacency

R2#show ip route eigrp

1.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 1.1.1.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:00:06, Serial0/0.123

3.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 3.3.3.0 [90/2809856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:00:06, Serial0/0.123

R3#show ip route eigrp

1.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 1.1.1.0 [90/2297856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:00:12, Serial0/0.31
2.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets

D 2.2.2.0 [90/2809856] via 172.12.123.1, 00:00:12, Serial0/0.31

Disabling split horizon should be done with care, but knowing when and where to do so shows that you truly understand how this technology works – and that’s a big step on the way to earning your CCNA!

I have found that the best way to get someone to respond positively to you is to LIKE them!

Seriously! It is so easy!!! Plus, it works.

Ive recently started a new position as a professional headhunter. Ive always done professional networking and marketing for individuals but now have joined a new firm. Most of what Im doing now is COLD CALLING. UGH..the dreaded COLD CALL.

What does it consist of? Hi! My name is Mary Gardner and Im with XYZ company, who is the Director of Operations? From there I ask questions and gather information until I get the right person on the phone that might have a serious interest in my candidate that Im marketing.

The difference that Ive seen in my first few days is that the first day I was TERRIFIED to call. I didnt feel ready. I felt unprepared. I wasnt clear of the procedures and I didnt even feel comfortable with the phone. Here is what happened: the first few calls.. people almost hung up on me. They didnt have the tolerance for a person with no confidence.

Today, I relaxed. I committed to myself that I was going to have FUN and to make the people enjoy our encounter. Id do that by showing them favor over the phone and acting excited to talk with them, even though I had no idea of who they were and what they did. And guess what? It worked! I spoke with numerous gatekeepers as we call them, or administrative people who shared all of the information that I wanted about the company. I used their NAME in the conversation! I asked how they were doing and didnt ignore them. I asked about the weather when they were in south Florida and laughed with them when they forgot whether it was morning or afternoon in their greeting. I truly just enjoyed all of the people I met.. and guess what?

They liked me back!!! I expressed enthusiasm when speaking WITH them and TO them, and they responded in kind. It was so much more fun to speak with them when I stopped thinking OF MYSELF and my nerves, and started thinking about THEM!!!

Of course I did all of the standard things you do in small talk! I asked them questions and I listened to them intently. I asked about them, or their company or the weather or if they were having a good day, but I showed interest in THEM and their lives. That was the total key today to enjoying new people and getting them to feel comfortable with me.

I liked them.

How about you? Are you expressing interest and curiosity in others? Are you excited to speak with them? Do you show interest in their response? Do you laugh at their jokes? Do you sincerely want to show that person that they are OK in your book?

You might find what I found. A day of potential stress can turn into a day full of fun.

Prices of HDTV sets are falling rapidly and the experts anticipate that they continue to drop over the next years. Because of this there is a lot of interest in all of the types of TV technologies available right now.

If you are shopping around for a TV right now, you can choose among a large variety of flat screen technologies including Plasma screens and LCD screens. Each technology has its own advantages over the other.

Why choose Plasma?
Plasma screen TV’s technology is based on exotic gases that can glow in different colors when different amounts of electric current are passed through them. For every pixel you seed in the Plasma screen there is a small pocket of gas that can be excited individually to glow at different wavelengths.

The result is an incredible range of colors that quickly reacts to changes of the images. Plasma screens re often easier to make in larger sizes than LCD screens and they are better at displaying fast action without blurring. However the do have a number of disadvantages. First of all the Plasma screens consume more than twice the amount of electricity that LCD screens do. Secondly Plasma screens aren’t bright enough to function well in higher light levels and their brightness fades with time and use and third they also tend to produce and annoying buzzing sound if they are operating at altitudes in excess of six thousand feet.

Why choose LCD?
Differently than the Plasma screens the LCD screens are based on a special type of crystals that react to electrical current by changing shape (not changing color like the gasses in a Plasma screen). In a normal LCD TV screen, the crystals are arranged in a grid pattern and they are supported by a transparent film transistor. A transparent film transistor applies the current to each individual crystal in the screen and, depending on the voltage that is applied to the individual crystal it will change its shape in various ways to block out light coming from a fluorescent lamp behind it.

The crystals will not only block out light completely to make black, but they will also block out different wavelengths of light to let through different colors. Every crystal represents one pixel on the screen. Compared to Plasma screens the LCD screens have the advantages of being extremely energy efficient and they render a great crystal clear picture in a variety of light levels, and lend themselves well to displaying output from computers.

The disadvantages of the LCD displays are that they are slightly blurring when displaying fast movement due to the time that the crystals need to change shape. Secondly the LCD screens are not that good at showing very deep shades of black due to the amount of energy that the crystals need to block out the light completely. Luckily both of these problems are almost unnoticeable as the technology has advanced.

In conclusion
There is not right or wrong choice when it comes to picking either a LCD or a Plasma screen. It all depends on the size your want, the contrast of colors you need and the things (watching movies or using as a computer screen) that you are planning using the new screen for. Always be sure to test the screens before you buy them. You might even be lucky to be able to borrow a screen for a test in your own living room to make sure that it is the right choice.

It is important to choose a software program based on what it can offer your practice, and not solely on cost. It is understandable that most new chiropractors come out of school with a lot of debt and want to get started for as little money as possible. Scrimping on something as important as your office software could cause you big headaches and even more money in the long run. If you have to upgrade to a better program, not only will you have to contract workers to perform the upgrade, your office staff will not be able to access your records for a period of time until the upgrade process is effective. These are thoughts to consider when reviewing your software options. Chiropractic software comparison is a necessary evil when finding your perfect software match.

Weeding through the various types of programs available can be exhausting. Some programs offer insurance billing specifically, while others focus on only patient records. Prepare to spend several hours in reviewing your options and be sure to speak with your office staff about their needs. Since the staff will be the ones using the programs, it is absolutely imperative that their input is considered. The Internet is a good search tool when looking for chiropractic software comparisons.

One of the most utilized programs today is Eclipse Practice Management Software. This company has been providing office solutions for over 20 years and has one of the most comprehensive office management software packages in the industry. According to their website, ECLIPSE includes billing, scheduling, EHR (electronic health record), daily notes, an extensive alerts system, certified HIPAA compliant electronic claims & remittance, security features that include patient data access tracking to help you run a HIPAA compliant facility, and myriad reports fine-tuned by two decades of client feedback. Eclipse also boasts of the softwares abilities to streamline your office records and create a virtually paperless office.

Another popular chiropractic software program is Lytec. Founded in 1989, this company is well-known as a leader in helping chiropractic offices streamline their records and superior customer support. Lytec specializes in the efficiency of patient billing, insurance filing and appointment setting. Included in their software package is a patented program called Code Import which loads CPT-4, ICD-9 and HCPCS directly into the Lytec software to greatly reduce coding errors. Another interesting feature of the Lytec software program is the Fee Schedule Import feature. This feature automatically loads Medicare fee schedules into Lytec saving time and improving accuracy.
ChiroSoft is a software program designed especially for todays chiropractic offices. It was first launched in 1982 and has had over 20 years experience in fine-tuning the software for the busy chiropractor. One of the most recognized and appreciated features of this program in the fee slip feature. According to their website, A fee slip is printed on each patient before they see the doctor, this allows for easy communication between the front desk and the chiropractor. The front desk must post services into ChiroSoft to cancel out that daily fee slip. This prevents billable services from being missed by the office staff. Many chiropractors find this feature very valuable and recommend it to others.

Chiropractic Complete Max Pro is another widely used software program for chiropractic offices. The tagline for this company is: save time, improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase productivity, and maximize profits. This product seems to offer a variety of necessary tools to maximize the performance of the chiropractic office. It offers flexible appointment scheduling, automated payment plans, statistical reports, the ability to bundle procedure codes that are used daily for quick reference, Multiple case management without creating double patient accounts, mailing list creation, electronic patient records, front desk management, and marketing tools. This is a bundled program that seems to offer nearly any tool that a chiropractor needs.

Finding the appropriate software for your practice can be very time consuming. When you first begin your search, it is likely that you will be overwhelmed with choices. Remember to consult with your office staff to determine what their needs may be. That is a good starting point in deciding which programs to purchase. Getting the right software in the beginning can save a lot of trouble in the future. If you have to change programs, you will have some lag-time where you will not be able to access your records. Finding a good vendor who understands your needs and who will offer excellent customer support is also a very important step. It may take some time, but with all of the products available on the market today, with a little research and thought, you will find the product you need to make your business successful.
